Job Description

‍

We are seeking a Senior .Net Developer to join our software development team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the back-end systems that support our immersive technology platform.  Our projects range from training simulations to tech-for-good initiatives that aim to address real-world challenges, offering you balance and variety in your work.

Key Responsibilities:

‍

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient back-end systems using .Net technologies. We need someone who can confidently and adeptly lay foundations.  
• Optimize and refactor existing code to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Work with our cross-functional in-house team to gather requirements, analyse technical specifications, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and mentoring junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of our back-end systems.

Qualifications:

‍

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in .Net development, with a strong understanding of C# and the .NET SDK.
• Proven experience with back-end development, including database design, API development, and server-side logic.
• Familiarity with cloud services such as Azure or AWS is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Experience with Git.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

‍

• Sectoral experience in virtual, augmented or extended reality.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
